Wisconsin Dells

“Oh, yeah! Wisconsin Dells here we come!” *Cough cough* Famous last words. Because the next thing you know cars are waving at us… Letting us know we’ve got smoke pouring out of the camper tires.

We pulled over, and Dad got out to see what was wrong – it was the outer bearing. It had overheated because all of the grease was gone, or something like that. Anyway, we had to call Blystone’s, a towing and repair company, to come and get us.

Blystone’s took the left rear wheel off of the camper and towed it on three wheels to their shop. It felt really weird to be driving behind our camper!!!🙂 But it made it to the shop, where we packed our bags, and headed out in search of some fun! We ended up staying in the same campground we had previously reserved, but in one of their cabins! And when you stay at this campground you get free tickets to the Chula Vista Waterpark, and it’s open till ten! So we ate supper, and then rode the slides!

The next day, Wednesday, we went to Noah’s Ark waterpark!!! There I rode the longest water coaster in the world, it shot you up and down, and up and down. I felt like it would never end! But I stumbled off at the end, reminded myself to keep breathing, then hopped on another slide.😁

Dad in his natural element at a water park…😀

That night we went to a Tommy Bartlett Show. It was SOOOOOOO cool!

The first half of the show was on water. And I know this is a fuzzy picture, but the five guys on the bottom are on water skis, and the five girls are making a pyramid – all while being towed behind a boat. All the tricks they performed were so amazing – I almost died of shock every time they did a new trick!!! One of my favourite parts was when the MC told the clown to, “Get down!” All of a sudden music began to play, and the clown started to dance. It was so funny!!!😂 But you would probably have to be there to have found it as funny as the crowd did!

The second half of the show was performed on stage. This guy and his dog tricks together – it was crazy how well the dog was trained!!!

This trick was nuts! It was so scary to watch!!! At first when they were staying inside the circle things it was stressful – but then when he climbed out… I was pretty sure I was about to watch someone fall to their death.

After an amazing few days in the Dells it was time to go – but our trucks ‘check engine’ light came on. So we sat in a dealership for two hours… Now we’re good to go, and are headed closer and closer to home!!!!

The Dells were so so so much fun, and I enjoyed every minute, well, most of them anyway…😏 Our next stop is a favourite place of mine and I can’t wait to share it with all of you!
